Filosogno means thread of a dream. The name holds everything we believe: that something beautiful can begin with a single thread, a little patience and two hands.

Born in Milan

Filosogno was born in Milan from a simple wish: to bring the calm of Italian craft into every home. We grew up surrounded by people who made things by hand, slowly and with care, and we wanted to pass that feeling on, in a form that fits modern life.

How we create

Every course and pattern is designed and written in our atelier, then refined until each step reads clearly. We choose words the way we choose yarn: for softness, clarity and the joy they bring. Our editions are made to be kept, printed, annotated and returned to, like a favourite book.
