Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

  • Order data: name, email, billing country and address, items purchased and payment confirmation. Card details are processed by our payment providers; we never see or store them.
  • Account data, if you create an account.
  • Messages you send us.
  • Newsletter: your email address and preferences, only if you subscribe.
  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies according to your choices.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To process your order, deliver your files and provide support (performance of a contract).
  • To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure (legitimate interest).
  • To send our newsletter and to measure and personalise advertising (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the store, under contract and only for these purposes: Shopify (store hosting and checkout), payment providers, our email service and, if you consent to marketing cookies, advertising partners such as Meta. We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers, and our company, are located outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where this happens we rely on adequacy decisions such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and invoicing data are kept for 10 years to meet tax obligations. Newsletter data are kept until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to ciao@filosogno.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie preferences link in the footer.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
